Debated. The points are older than Clovis weapons, but the page does not show they are the oldest in the Americas.

At Cooper's Ferry, in the lower Salmon River canyon of western Idaho, researchers found 13 sharp stone points, some whole and some in pieces. They are from about half an inch to 2 inches long. Dating puts them at roughly 15,700 years old, about 3,000 years older than the oldest Clovis points. The Nez Perce name for the place is Nipéhe.

The page still asks how people first reached this river, and why sound points were left behind.
