Known. Juukan 2 held a bone point and a plait of human hair.
The shelter is in Juukan Gorge, in Puutu Kunti Kurrama Country in the Pilbara, about 60 kilometres northwest of Tom Price. People first used it about 47,000 years ago, including through the last ice age. The point is a kangaroo bone about 30,000 years old, with ochre on the tip. The hair plait is about 3,000 years old. The rock shelter was later destroyed in a mine blast.
