Known. A mummy tied with ropes was found in an underground tomb.

The tomb is at Cajamarquilla, in Peru, about 24 kilometres inland from Lima. The mummy is thought to be at least 800 years old. It is linked to the Chaclla people of the high Andes, placed between 1,200 and 800 years ago. Pots, stone tools, and gourds holding plant remains were buried with it.

The sex of the person is not certain, and a closer date has not yet been measured.
