No one has proved that the layout is perfect, or that every shape was planned.
Debated. The same measures and shapes appear again and again in the Sun Temple.
The Sun Temple is at Mesa Verde, in Colorado. Pueblo people built it around AD 1200. One study found a unit a little over 30 centimetres long, used over and over. Triangles, squares, and other shapes fit that layout, with an error of less than one percent. What the temple was for is not agreed, even though its name links it to the sun.
People still argue whether the builders chose those shapes on purpose.
