A small gold disc with Latin letters

Wiejkowo, Poland. between 960 and 1125 AD. Last 1,000 years. Unexplained. Debated. Free

A proved name of a Viking king was not shown.

Debated. People do not agree that the disc is real.

The page says the disc was found at Wiejkowo, in Poland, by a church crypt, and was later kept in Sweden. It is gold, and 4.5 centimetres across. One side has Latin letters. Researchers have read the letters as the name of a Viking king, Harald Bluetooth. The page dates the disc to between 960 and 1125 AD.

People still argue whether the disc is real. One archaeologist says it is. Others have asked if it is a fake.
